Adoptables

How to Adopt

Have a look through our adoptables below and choose the one that appeals to you the most! This could be because they seem the easiest or funnest to play or perhaps you're looking for a challenge and might be trying out a new kind of character.

Copy the code from below your chosen adoptable's application and paste it into a new thread in the Character Creation board. Please paste it into the BBCode tab first, otherwise your app's going to have a lot of spacing issues! Then switch to the Preview tab and add anything you wish to the application!

You can add to any part of the adoptable's app and in most cases, some parts will need to be filled out by the adopter; however, we ask that you keep the character's general idea the same. If they were a jerk, they should still be a jerk, but maybe they have more valid reasoning behind it now! Major changes to an adoptable's history, personality, or appearance must be approved by staff beforehand! Please PM Silvy with your ideas.

Once you've got the application to your liking, ensure you've got their name in the title, their "Gang | Job" in the description bar, and then post it!

You must wait to recieve an acceptance message before you can begin posting (unless you've purchased the Stamp of Approval from the Barc Shop).

Important Notes

We work hard to make our adoptables appealing, so in cases where a player doesn't stick around very long, doesn't use them in the roleplay very often, or drops them, we will reclaim the character and find a new player for it. We typically wait until the character is made inactive before reclaiming, however, we may reach out to players "sitting on" adoptables if they don't post with them!

However, if you've adopted an Infidelis adoptable in the past and participated in the roleplay with it consistently over a few months, we will most often let you "keep" that character (and never reclaim it).

If you have an adoptable you'd like to advertise, we ask that you post a Wanted Ad. It's a one Wanted Ad per Player policy. Please don't post multiples as they will be deleted. Your Wanted Ad can have as many posts in it as you would like, but remember that you don't want to overwhelm potential adopters, either!
